Come and celebrate La Fete de la Musique (Make Music Day or World Music Day) at Patron from 5pm to 11pm!

On Tuesday 21st of June, the longest day of the year, when Spring ends and Summer starts, more than 700 cities in 120 countries across the globe dance to free live music.

Initiated by the French Ministry of Culture in 1982, Le Fête de la Musique, is a huge deal in France. Free concerts everywhere, elderly and young mixing together to enjoy many types of music, the smell of BBQs, the joy on everyone’s face … what’s not to love!!!

We just couldn’t miss this opportunity to put together a neighbourhood celebration à la bonne franquette (without any fuss). Just enjoy live music, a BBQ and, of course, nice wine!

For this special occasion, we have asked our amazing patron Florence Joelle, a Gypsy jazz singer, to come with her guitarist and double bassist to perform at Patron. She is brilliant and we are incredibly excited that she accepted our invitation. Find Florence Joelle on Facebook and SoundCloud.

We are also on the hunt for some local musicians and bands so if you know anyone, PLEASE LET US KNOW!!

With Patron’s Fête de la Musique we really aim to bring our neighbours, patrons and friends together to share a part of our beautiful French culture. There is no bookings required so come along with your friends!

See you soon x
